Q1. This MFLP website seems to give away all your business secrets for free, so why should any firm subscribe to your services?
A1. We give away almost all of our secrets to convince firms that we know best practices in running a family law office. We know this information is credible but nearly useless unless firms subscribe to our data processing that calculates, tracks, and displays the data while incentivizing staff to consistently maintain high critical numbers and automatically react quickly to low published numbers.
Q2. MFLP is obviously profit oriented. Is that all there is?
A2. Most problems in life and in business can be solved or at least mitigated with money. However, there are many other benefits from running a business well besides more money for the owners. Success breeds success, and success breeds job satisfaction, more staff pay and benefits, higher office morale, and reduced stress, which in turn allows staff to do better work, more work and/or enjoy their lives more.
Q3. What is all the to-do about critical numbers?
A3. Quickly knowing when and what is out of balance is valuable in running any business well. There is too much to watch, however, only watching a few critical numbers is sufficient.
Q4. What are the critical numbers for a family law office?
A4. The three critical numbers are (1) the % Icon Conversion Rate (converting Initial Consults to Clients), (2) % Collections, and (3) Hours Billed by each legal staffer.
Q5. Why are these numbers important?
A5. Not converting Initial Consults to client’s wastes opportunities, and during slow periods it is obviously disastrous. Consistently billing 100 hours per month or more per legal staff is required for a healthy family law office, but the money must also be collected. Collecting 99% or more of the billings is doable, but only if staff is motivated to cooperate and good protocols are in place.
Q6. How can the legal staff be motivated consistently with all the chaos in a family law office?
A6. A properly designed and run Performance-Based Recognition and Awards Program coupled with an equally perfected Performance-Based Pay system work well by keeping legal staff aware of their performance daily, and knowing that generous awards and generous pay is under their own control.
Q7. Is subscribing to More Family Law Profits all that a family law firm needs to achieve high business success?
A7. Sorry, but no. In theory, a perfect staff could do fairly well on its own. A substandard staff will never do well. The best scenario is having a great staff and incentivizing them with MFLP. Such staff that is highly motivated and well paid reduces turnover problems and makes it easier to hire more staff.
Q8. Should I be concerned with transitioning to MFLP or loosing billing data that could be very costly?
A8. Data migration from your current billing system to MFLP can be done easily and quickly with no downtime in billing your clients. You have no risk of ever loosing your important billing entry data because every week night you will be emailed up-to-date statement copies for all of your active clients. MFLP has been designed and improved since 2011 to optimize profits without compromising safety and integrity, born and raised in a Family Law Office in Reno, Nevada. It is highly reliable.
Q9. If I go with MFLP, what can I expect in a year or two?
A9. We expect to increase your profits by 10% or more of your current gross yearly sales. Our fees will be 10% or less of such increases. The business side of your firm will be running smoother with less effort by you. Staff morale and therefore staff turnover will be improved. Happier staff means happier clients.
